He raises the poor from the Dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.

Alicia’s journey of faith began in the halls of Catholic schools, where she was nurtured in the traditions of the Church from Kindergarten through college. Her path led her to Brighton, where she and her husband found a spiritual home at Saint Patrick Church. Their children joined Saint Patrick School in 2017, and in 2020, after years of teaching art in public schools, Alicia was blessed with the opportunity to teach at Saint Patrick’s School, intertwining her faith and profession.
Lindsay’s spiritual journey took a different route. Raised in the Lutheran tradition, she attended Lutheran school through eighth grade. But her faith journey was anything but linear. As she explored different Christian denominations, she felt God’s persistent call. It was this longing that led her to the School of Encounter Ministries, where she gained a deeper understanding of Catholicism. Now, she prepares to be confirmed into the Catholic Church on the eve of Pentecost—an occasion she believes is divinely appointed. “Come, Holy Spirit, Come!” she exclaims, knowing that this is no coincidence.
It was through prayer that Alicia and Lindsay’s paths converged. Lindsay often hosted prayer gatherings at her home, and it was at one of these sacred meetings that their hearts and missions aligned. As they prayed together, Alicia shared the divine mission God had placed on her heart. To her amazement, Lindsay revealed a calling of her own, a vision that mirrored Alicia’s but spanned different lands. In that moment, they knew—God was calling them to something bigger than themselves.
Alicia had always heard of the Holy Spirit, but it was through the Encounter School of Ministry that she truly met Him. After completing the two-year program, she felt a divine whisper: “Buy a passport.” At first, she dismissed it as her own thought. But just a week later, a friend invited her on a mission trip to Guatemala. There, she witnessed extreme poverty—children sleeping on dirt floors, families struggling for basic necessities. The experience changed her. During a powerful moment of prayer, God spoke again, this time calling her to Mozambique to serve the orphaned and impoverished. Six months later, she was on the ground, fulfilling that call.
When Alicia shared her experience with Lindsay, she discovered that God had also placed a burden on Lindsay’s heart—this time for Jamaica. In 2014, Lindsay and her husband had planned a vacation to Cabo, but a hurricane changed their plans. Desperate for an alternative destination, they discovered Treasure Beach, a small fishing village in Jamaica. There, God opened Lindsay’s eyes. Beyond the beautiful beaches and tourist attractions was a community struggling to survive. The people who served them—the tour guides, the waiters, the locals—often lacked basic necessities. The church they visited had only one tattered Bible for the entire congregation. Over time, Lindsay and her family returned to Treasure Beach, forging deep relationships with the locals. They eventually purchased property there, knowing that God was preparing them for something greater. Now, that land is a beacon of hope, a place where spirit-led missionaries are sent to spread the Gospel, feed the hungry, and provide medical care to the vulnerable.
From these encounters, SENT Global was born. A Catholic mission dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s calling, SENT is an acronym that encapsulates its purpose: Sending Spirit-led missionaries to Evangelize, Nourish, and Tend to the needs of impoverished communities globally.

Alicia’s journey has been guided by profound prayer, and she has received a divine calling to lead others to Jesus by extending essential aid to partnering communities worldwide.
Meet Mary! Mary is an authentic, Holy Spirit-seekin’, coffee-lovin’ ginger with a passion for the Lord. Mary has been involved in ministry for over 15 years, speaking to over 100,000 youth and young adults around the nation at parish missions, ministry trainings, and retreats and conferences. Through her passion and teaching, she seeks to draw her audience to the beauty of the Catholic faith, a deeper love for Christ, the Eucharist, and the call to holiness.
Meet Lindsay! Lindsay resides in Brighton, Michigan with her husband of 20 years and their 3 children. Her 15+ years in pediatric healthcare as well as her own past health struggles have significantly shaped her identity in Christ. This identity has ignited a flame within her heart to help those that are struggling spiritually, mentally or physically. She has seen how the love and power of Jesus has healed and restored her. She now feels called to spread that love to others.
Meet Lisa! Meet Lisa, the Chair of SENT Global. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Pre-Law, Lisa brings a unique blend of expertise and leadership to the organization. Her gentleness and humility inspire a culture of compassion and collaboration throughout the nonprofit.
Meet Cassie! Cassie is a world traveler enthusiast with 11+ years of ministry experience. She has worked in youth/young adult ministry, campus ministry, street evangelization, and mission work across the Midwest and Texas. Her powerful, healing encounter with Jesus when she was 19 has given her a mission to bring the love of Christ to everyone she meets. Captivating hearts for Jesus and facilitating encounters with the God who loves each person so intimately and uniquely is what makes her come alive! ”
Meet Joe! He is a retired business owner, husband of 45 years, father of 4 and grandfather of 2. Having re-fired for the Lord, the future is exciting with the best yet to come. He has traveled to over 30 countries, with mission trips to Brazil, Mozambique, Phillippines, and Columbia.
Meet Dominique! Hailing from Illinois, Dominique joined SENT Global this past year after feeling a strong call to serve on a mission. In 2024, she had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala with SENT Global. She is grateful to be part of the team and eagerly anticipates where the Lord will guide the team next.
